Make a simple circuit connection as shown in the diagram

Preparation

In this experiment you are require to setup a basic electrical circuit experiment

Execution

    1. set up a circuit as shown in the diagram above, leaving the key open
    2. set the resistance in the resistance box to R = 2ohms
    3. close the key reand and record the current I on the ammeter and the corresponding p.d V on the voltmeter
    4. Evaluate P = I/V and R-1
    5. Repeat the procedure for four other values of R = 5, 7, 10, and 12 in each case, evaluate P and R-1
